Sakra práce. Projel jsem to. Už poněkolikátý tento týden. Příště to už určitě vyjde. Musí… Kdo chce od života něco víc, musí umět riskovat. A to já umím! I když… Už je to sedm let… Stále nic... Právě včera jsem v bedně na chvíli zahlíd ňákej dokument o Odysseovi. To je ten slavnej řeckej hrdina, víš? Páč já to nevěděl... No tak tenhleten Odysseus prej po cestě domů zabloudil na ostrov. Něco trochu jako já když se valím z hospody. Jsem vlastně taky takovej Odysseus… A tam se zalíbil místní bohyni Kalipsó, která ho držela v zajetí sedm let. Sedm dlouhejch let. Pak se mu z toho ostrova podařilo zdrhnout… To je asi tak všechno. Jo až teď jsem si všim, že ten můj mat, na kterým celý ty roky hraju, se jmenuje Kalipsó. Tomu říkám vtipná shoda náhod…

God Damnit! I screwed up. Again. For the hundredth time this week. But it will definitely work out next time. It just has to… If one wants something more out of his life, he must be able to take risks. And that’s what I’m good at! Or am I not? It’s already been seven years in a row… And still nothing… Yesterday, for a brief moment, I saw some documentary on TV about Odysseus. That famous Greek hero, you know? Cuz I didn’t know him… Allegedly Odysseus got lost on his way home and ended up on an island. In a way I am something of an Odysseus myself. Especially when I am leaving the pub in the middle of the night… Back to the story. There a local goddess named Calypso fell in love with him and held him captive for seven years. Seven long years. Then he managed to get the hell out of the island… And that’s all. Yeah, until now, I’ve never noticed that the slot-machine I’ve been playing all these years is called Calypso. What a funny coincidence…
